Choose the right file tool

Each tool is designed for one clear task.

PDF to Word

Best for letters, reports and paragraphs that you want to edit in a .docx file. PDF Porter extracts readable text, but the original fonts, spacing, columns and page design may change.

PDF to Excel

Best for simple tables, lists and statements with selectable text. Each PDF page becomes a worksheet. Merged cells, irregular columns and complex tables may need correction after conversion.

Merge PDF

Combine up to 10 PDFs into one document. Arrange the files in the order you want before creating the merged PDF.

Split PDF

Enter individual pages or ranges to create a smaller PDF containing only the pages you choose.

Word to PDF

Turn the readable text in a .docx file into a clean PDF. Best for simple documents; complex layouts, images and special fonts may not be reproduced.

Excel to PDF

Turn readable spreadsheet cells into PDF pages. Best for simple tables; formulas are shown as their displayed values, while charts and complex formatting may be omitted.

PDF to JPG

Create a clear JPG image from each PDF page and download the pages individually. Supports up to 20 pages at a time.

JPG to PDF

Combine up to 10 JPG or JPEG images into one PDF. Rearrange the images before processing to control the page order.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. The tools process selected files in your browser. Your device and browser are still responsible for the security of the original and downloaded files.

Why can the formatting change?

A PDF stores a fixed page design rather than an editable document structure. Automated extraction can therefore change spacing, fonts, columns, tables and page breaks.

Will Word or Excel look exactly the same as the original?

Not always. These browser-based tools are intended for simple documents and tables. Complex layouts, images, charts, formulas, fonts and styling may change or be omitted, so review the PDF before using it.

Can I convert a bank statement?

A bank statement may convert if it contains selectable text and a clear table. Scanned, password-protected or complex statements may not work correctly. Always check every amount, date and balance against the original before relying on the spreadsheet.

Is PDF Porter free?

Yes. PDF Porter is currently free to use. We may support the service with advertising in the future, with any required privacy and cookie choices provided before non-essential advertising technology is used.
