How to Combine JPG Images into One PDF

Combining JPG files is useful for receipts, photographed forms and scanned paperwork. Each image becomes one fitted PDF page, so image order and orientation should be corrected before creating the document.

Prepare the images

Crop unwanted backgrounds, rotate every image upright and confirm that no page edge is missing. Use the clearest original photograph rather than an image copied repeatedly through messaging apps.

Arrange the page sequence

Name or sort the images before selection, then use the up and down controls to confirm their final order. Put covers and instructions first and signature pages where the receiving organisation expects them.

Review the combined PDF

Open the new PDF and inspect every page at normal zoom. Check that portrait and landscape photos fit sensibly and that important text has not been cropped.

Final checklist

  • Images are upright and complete
  • Page order is correct
  • No duplicate photograph was included
  • The final PDF is readable at normal zoom
